Growing up in Bushland, Texas, helped mold me into the type of person I am today. Learning things like having respect and proper manners, loving your family and working hard to achieve something you want. I’m so grateful for all the lessons growing up in a small town have taught me.
Growing up in the Texas outskirts, I developed a love for hunting!! Something about being out in the country, choosing the type of gun to use depending on what you’re hunting, strategizing where you will hide, camouflaging your whereabouts, and then bringing home the kills, gets my adrenaline going!
I recently went out with one of my good friends from high school, Weston Richburg, who plays for the New York Giants. We were siting in the bushes, looking through our scopes and both started to laugh. We both couldn’t believe that two kids from Bushland, TX, had made it to the NFL…a dream come true.
We’ll head out a few more times this offseason in search of coyotes, sand hill crains and anything else we can find. I’ll keep you updated on our catches!
