This time last year, I was just finishing my time at Colorado State. In all honesty, it was kind of hard paying attention to the Super Bowl when you’re trying to finish school and get ready for the NFL. That’s why I’m excited to be here in Arizona to check out the Super Bowl. While I wish the Ravens were play playing, just being down here is getting me fired up for my offseason training so we can come back even stronger next year.
As soon as I touched down in Phoenix my agent, Craig Domann of 360 Sports, took me to “Radio Row” in the Phoenix Convention Center downtown. It was cool to talk to so many different radio affiliates from across the country and around the world. I’ve talked with radio personalities form Brazil, Mexico and Australia! It’s been a whirlwind, but a valuable experience.
I also got the chance to meet a Texas legend, Gil Brandt. He was the GM for the Dallas Cowboys for nearly three decades (Tom Landry & Roger Staubach’s era). You always have to respect those who have helped make the game what it is today, especially with me being from the Lone Star state….Texas Forever!

I spent most of the afternoon at Radio Row. Now that I have a bit of free time I’m going to explore the city a bit with some friends. We’re going to take in the sights and sounds of all the Super Bowl has to offer. I’ll keep you posted!
